A Brief
Overview
Graphic Design
Who am I as a designer?
Being a designer, for me, is the combination of multiple avenues. Graphic design, product design, layout design, architectural design, illustration, photography, and all things post production round out my abilities to be able to design efficiently and cohesively.
1
Layout Design
From working on Hamilton College's official magazine, to our alumni magazine, and to student fashion, I have been able to explore a variety of layout design opportunities. Each project requires new typography, fresh designs, and the ability to adapt to current trends and ideas.

The layout design of a fashion magazine is crucial in capturing the attention of readers and conveying the essence of the publication. An innovative layout design can make a fashion magazine stand out from the rest. It should be visually appealing, easy to navigate, and complement the content. A well-designed layout can enhance reading experience and make the content more engaging. By incorporating innovative design elements, such as unique, creative use of white space, and striking imagery, a fashion magazine can create a lasting impression on its readers.

Product Design
My multi-year career as a designer with Visual Communications at Hamilton College has provided me with an array of opportunities to dive into product design. My love for hyper-realism and photoshop have propelled my understanding of product design into a place where I feel confident and ready for any project that crosses my path.

Architectural Design
My passion for hyper-realism and photoshop has not only helped in product design but also in architectural design. My ability to digitally map out assets in real world images has drastically improved as I continue to develop my skills.
Section 4
Sports Design
Where my love for design intertwines with my personal life is in the realm of sports design. I have now been creating sports graphics for years and every time I make one graphic I get an idea for another one and the cycle continues.
A Bit About Me
This combination of sports and design started for me all the way back in the Vine days. Vine was a social media app that conceptually revolved around short form video content. I started making some short video edits around 2014-2015 and experimented with football and basketball. After Vine shutdown in 2017 I transitioned into Instagram. Instagram allows for images and videos and so I expanded the kind of content I made. I was mainly creating on Final Cut Pro but gradually switched to Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop. This idea of running a sports account dedicated to design has gone through many iterations for me. I have been running accounts for the last few years but in 2022 I gave the whole account a new uniform design. The logo, layout, and page are all cohesively constructed with the content being linked through my style.
Stylistic Evolution
I run an account on Instagram called @metscolumn that allows me the creative freedom to experiment with sports graphics. It is a New York Mets fan page that revolves around everything Mets. My love for baseball and specifically the Mets has lead to many iterations of this sports account but ultimately ended up on the creation of @metscolumn.
