Experience

Creative Director & Lead Designer

Boomerang Bites, Hoboken, NJ

July 2024 – November 2024

I am currently working directly with the founder of Boomerang Bites, a local woman owned business in Hoboken, NJ. Boomerang Bites is both a mail order company for Australian treats, as well as a new brick and mortar café and bakery with an ethos to do good and give back. My efforts have been focused on rebranding the company logo, fonts, and color scheme. I created a standardized marketing kit to be used in all Boomerang Bites marketing and branding. I have been working through all company-branded product designs, architectural and interior design within the café, social media services and website work, brand campaigns, as well as all digital post production editing for photography and videography, illustrative drawings and magazine and print work.

Fellowship Recipient

Hamilton International Summer Research Fellowship

April 2024 – November 2024

Through Hamilton College, I had the honor of receiving the Hamilton International Summer Research Fellowship for the summer of 2024. This fellowship allowed me the opportunity to live in Venice, Italy where I did research around the question: How can research on Venice’s institutions of trade and immigration be visually translated, focusing on medicine, plants, works of art, ports, and the 2024 Biennale? The 2024 Biennale was focused on immigration. Throughout my time in Venice I visited museums, art installations, various Biennale exhibits, scuolas, and palaces for inspiration and answers. During that time I drew and painted what I saw and experienced. Those drawings and paintings, along with an essay, will be part of a larger exhibition in the Fall of 2024.
